Safe for me as well as babyI bought this for the top of our stairs - as I didn’t want a rail that would be a trip hazard for me. Super easy to install. Slightly inconvenient to close (you need two hands) but can open one handed. Template made it the easiest installation I’ve done.
3 questions:
1. I noted the comment that this is a "one-handed opening system". Reviews say that this is difficult.
2. What about closing the gate, is it one-handed?
3. Can this gate be fitted diagonally across a hallway?

1. The gate is operable with one hand. First push the button down and turn and release it, you do not need to hold it in that position. Then you can use that same hand to reach over and hold the handle to retract the gate.
2. The same process is used to open/close the gate.
3. Yes, it has three different mounting settings so it can be mounted at a variety of angles.

Can the fixing on one side be mounted inside frame and the other side mounted outside the frame?

I would like to purchase but we have concrete on one side and brick wall at the other side. Is it possible to install with these materials or is it only for timber frame only?
