The Chelsea Set comes with one standard (75cm) gate and two 9cm extensions. These are perfect for doorways, hallways, stairways (top and bottom) and other openings throughout the home. The gate swings closed automatically - the one handed operation for adults is super convenient!

Great baby gate
Love our black Chelsea gate with extension for our large open lounge room door space. The black colour (there is an option of black or white) also goes with our home decor which is a plus!
Great quality and finish on the gate and extension. Very handy how you can just make it as wide or narrow as you need with the optional extensions to suit different door spaces. The auto close is good as I don't need to remember if I've closed the gate.
I also have a single gate (no extensions) on our laundry door which is very helpful to keep my daughter out of the room completely with the potential harmful chemicals there and also our kitten sleeps in there.

Great baby gate & the easiest installation!
We installed the Chelsea gate and one Extension after renovating our kitchen and living area, needing to keep our very active and explorative toddler away from all of the potentially harmful things you find in a kitchen. Firstly, installation was an absolute breeze - and I don’t say that lightly after having installed a few other baby gate brands in the past. It fit in the space perfectly due to the addition of extensions - these can be added or removed to fit a range of spaces so the gate is super versatile. From unboxing to full installation it took just less than 10minutes! And as any busy parent knows, that is a major plus when buying any baby safety items. Secondly, it’s child proof but not adult proof - again something we’ve struggled with in the past (embarrassingly so). Thirdly, the auto close is such a great added feature, as well as the ability to push it fully open for it to lock in position if you’d like to keep it open for a period of time. All in all, we have been so impressed with the high quality, efficiency, safety and ease of use of this gate and have not hesitated to recommend it to our friends and family needing to segregate spaces.

Great features
I bought this one month ago, we just loved it.
It’s so easy to install, options to extend to the desired width.
It serves the purpose of stopping our puppies to explore the back garden beds as they love to look for possum poohs.
Overall, it’s a great product! Highly recommend!
Also, Sarah Wilson from customer service was very helpful and responsive, she answered all questions that I had. Well done!

I have a big opening of 185 inch (470cm) across the kitchen area with a kitchen island in the middle of the space but can't be used as a wall or pressure point. is this possible with either gate opening on the side of the island or 2 gate?
Hi, I use the Chelsea xtra wide gate with an extension piece in a space 176cm across double doors. It works well and stands up to being rattled by a demanding 2 year old! We were not able to screw into the side walls as recommended however we have had no problems.

Hi, I purchased this gate and wondering if it has to be screwed into the wall? We are renting and it isn’t allowed. When I purchased it I thought it didn’t have to be, but after opening it looks like it does?

Technically I it's meant to be screwed to the wall, but we have the gate up without screwing it in (although the plastic parts that attach to the wall are still stuck to the wall with the adhesive pads that are provided, so I guess the wall will still be marked when you take the gate down). I can confirm that the gate has worked for us without screws in the wall, but I probably wouldn't rely on it never falling over if enough force was pushed against it.

Do the extension pieces need to be put on either side of the gate for it to work. I have a 2m span at the top of the stairs and want to gate aligned with the stairs, not in the middle of the opening (which places the gate at the banister).

We have a 3m opening. We have installed as instructed so the gate looks correct with the extensions. Our flooring is tiles. If the gate is pushed or pulled it bows & is not stable. Is there something that can make it more rigid or rubber feet for under?
